PO Stands for 2 Things
PO: It is no 1 for referring to 2 things— the post office and pissed off.
I am the latter about the 1st. I've had this discussion about the lack of service many a time when I go in to the building. This time it wasn't about a missing magazine or somebody else's package being crammed in to the box and we had to rip it to get it out. It wasn't because something I was expecting was a day late.
This time it was because we were expecting something important and never got it....
This branch has had problems ever since we moved here. I can't tell you how many times all of us go on either next door or facebook trying to switch our packages to get the right ones to the right owners.
Not everybody is this helpful. I know for sure someone was enjoying my subscription to a couple of magazines and then I didn't get to do the same.
But this time, the information in those envelopes had quite a bit of personal personal numbers that no one but us should have!
Literally stood in line for 20 minutes before I could get to 1 of the 2 ladies who were helping the line that stretched out the door to get to the point where I could vent my frustration.
I felt sorry for these ladies because they were trying but how much could they do given what was not going on in the back room?
When I told her, she went back with a supervisor and searched high and low for the missing objects. She came back with that day's mail! But nothing of our missing items.
Then came the rest of her findings. Turns out that when those particular pc of mail went missing was when they were putting in all new mail slots. The brilliant people they hired took everyone's mail and put it into into garbage bags and through it out!
Really????
How do you hire people to do a job and now all of us who have our mailboxes there are missing both necessary and regular mail!
They didn't even make an attempt to let any of us know about this major goof.
Supposed to be a supervisor was going to call me and we were going to arrange a day and time that my weekly mail would be ready and I would just pick it up there. No one has but yesterday we didn't get any mail!
Now I have to wait in that line again.
PO'd doesn't even begin to describe my feelings at the moment.
