Enough Already!
Thankfully despite the title, things are slightly better this week. Sunshine is doing quite well. Her stomach is all healed. Adam is better but he is on short-term disability. He is still coughing away and so weak that he really doesn't know whether he's coming or going.
Plus, he still can't taste a thing. He said some of the more gross things have been trying to eat a snack of a rice cake with almond butter. He said it felt like he was chewing styrofoam with some oil on top of it. He could feel the texture but not taste anything. That and he knows he's drinking coffee but has no idea about the actual taste. "I could be drinking water with some coloring in it for all I know."
I am happy that I've gone back to water aerobics!
The weather is still quite hot. I wanted to take the girls for a walk several time. But at 5:00 AM when they wake me up it's already over 85°. It's also pitch black out there. I'm hoping that the next week we will finally see the temperatures come down a bit so that I could list can get them out for a walk.
All else is just, more or less, rolling around in frustration with the present climate, both emotionally and physically.
