Painfully Better

I know, it's been more than a minute...

I've been more than a little depressed.  I hate the silence, I hate not having my fur babies.  I just want them all back.

The past month I've been working on several of my health issues.  I went through the tortuous "testing" for a spinal ablation.  I had to lie, face down, and have needles stuck into 3 discs-both sides-without any sedation!  That was just to prove I'd be a good candidate for the eventual ablation.

Thank goodness I at least had some sedation (still wide awake) and some pain meds to get me through the six needles that would burn the discs!  That little bit of torture really did help my pain.  Then, a few days later, the same wonderful doctor gave me my once a year cortisone shot to my occipital lobe.  Great!

My failed bone graft seems to be healing fine this time.  Hoping, upon all hope, that in October I will finally get to finish this gaping hole in my lower jaw with the appropriate post/crown.

Of course, now that I have successfully helped part of my spine/head, other parts are now in the forefront of things to fix...

About 2-3 months ago I began having issues with my right ear.  Every time I would exercise, it would echo.  I can actually hear both my heart beating and my breathing.  My primary said I needed to use to debrox.  If that failed to help the echoing in my ear, I needed to come back and get them flushed.

So, I did.  Problem-it did NOT work.  Thankfully, Steve's ENT could see me.  Well, I will need to undergo a full range of tests, then he will decide if I need tube or another procedure where they put a balloon up through my nose and into my ear canal to correct the placement of my eardrum.

Really???

Put a fork in me-because I am done.
