Almost March 🤯
Somehow between my last post and now I managed to get sick. It was that coughing thing that was going around. Most people would just get it, take their medicine and get better.
Being me, instead of just doing the above, the stupid coughing had me increasing both the valley fever and the rheumatoid arthritis. And if that wasn't enough, all that coughing went ahead and brought back the wonderful occipital neuralgia.
Thankfully, my ID doctor gave me a z-pack and a steroid pack. Neither of which someone with valley fever is supposed to have, but he decided it was better than what I was going through.
I'm now waiting my okay from Medicare to get another nerve block in the back of my head at my next pain management meeting.
We also started with our new dentist and our new optometrist. Both women are very personable and we were very happy with them.
Oh, thanks to the occipital neuralgia I had to get a new pair of glasses because I now needed to put the prisms that were removed several years ago back in so I can go back to doing things Iove.
My eyes jump around so much that I have not been able to read my latest mystery or put much effort into my crossword puzzles!
We did have more health issues with our little 14-year-old Lucky. But thanks to both are vet and our love and care, knock on wood, she's doing pretty well.
We had pretty exciting Valentine's Day. We went to Bryce and Jackson's pickleball tournament! It was Bryce's first time and she did quite well. Jackson came home with a silver medal. Steve went later to his three basketball games.
I have a feeling Jackson was extremely tired!
To finish off the couple of months here, we had the pleasure of watching Jackson in his district honor choir performance. I have to say, they were truly brilliant!
The group of 7th and 8th graders got together at 9:30 in the morning rehearsed until Showtime at 6:30 at night and put on this wonderful display of musical instruments.
