2020 Is Relentless

It's official, I am broken and not so cheery.

In the last two weeks since my accident I have found that I cannot always have a bright and cheery attitude and put a smile on my face.

Smiling is a very difficult thing to do when you're not sure what part of your broken body hurts the worst and how to even slightly calm the pain.

those who are old enough, do you remember that song that said something like the neck bone is connected to the foot bone? Without going to medical school I assure you it's very true.

Thanks to no weight on the broken foot and the feeling that I'm walking on a rock on the other foot plus the ripped up knee which has shot up to my arthritic hips and bulging discs and finished with I believe kicking up the partial tears in both rotator cuffs. Let's not even discuss what my poor hands feel like at this point.

I did call the orthopedic and ask for them to submit a request for a wheelchair from both our health provider and Medicare -that was a week ago.

Going to let the girls out or entertaining the thought of using our bathroom makes me cringe. Imagine trying to walk with that damn Walker with knives going through your rotator cuffs and walking on a rock.

I assure you it is not pleasant and it's hard to find the humor in it at all at this point.
Yes, today I am feeling like a total Debbie Downer.

Have a good weekend people.
