Hard to believe, but on this date 10 years ago Sam and Adam were married!

We're having a sleepover with Jackson and Bryce so the happy couple can at least spend some quality time together!

Today, restaurants are allowed to partially open but the kids are so NOT going into what promises to be a royal madhouse of people clamoring for a return to Friday night normalcy.

We too are itching to go out into our world. Donning masks of course, but we'll wait until we know it's going to have a modicum of safety.  I really NEED a haircut! Thanks to my Gene pool, I pretty much look like a used Brillo pad.

That said, this is the start of a second decade of marriage for our younger kids. An achievement in today's world!

While they enjoy a child-free evening, we'll be serving up chicken meatballs, spaghetti with each grandkids favorite veggie. We'll enjoy salad with ours!

After, grandpa's making popcorn! Perfect to go with the Broadway Disney Favorite hits show during our trial of Broadway HD!

Tomorrow, waffles, bacon and berries before they go back to mom and dad!

Sunday is Mother's day!  This year, since Adam and Steve are still on furlough, Adam has invited us, Sarah and the boys over for breakfast!!!

This is literally the first time we mom's will be served on Mother's day!!

It really is the beginning of a whole new world!

Happy 10th Sam and Adam!

Happy Mother's day to all mom's everywhere!

Hmmmmm, sounds like your state is re-opening quicker than our's. No indoor seating at restaurants and no salons . . . so no haircuts! We're under a stay-home order till the end of May. But our son moves into their new home more quickly than that so I'm sure we'll help somehow then.

A bourbon burger sounds pretty good about right now. Speaking of pork, we ordered a taco kit from a local restaurant on Tuesday. They only had pork left--no beef or chicken--so we got the pork, enough to feed an army. Just finished the last of it today.

Stay healthy

Let's just say, things are slightly looser Dave. Haven't had a haircut in over 3 months now. Steve let Adam cut his (he does Jackson's and his own). No indoor seating yet. Lots of take out, but several restaurants have given up the fight. One in particular-Nora Jean's, decided it was time to stop doing the "kit" takeout, the homemade breads, etc. We all loved her cooking classes, small and cute place that was more of someone's home breakfast nook and the food. Some even started a GoFundMe for her. That's how much she was loved by our community. She thanked everyone but said that she was just too far behind to accept the generous and loving thought.
I'm just past a bad case of cabin fever at this point. Although I did enjoy NOT having to drive 40 miles to the rheumy the other morning.
