Anthem Bubble Finally Burst
We've always said our little area is in a bubble. Rain can be coming down everywhere and miss our fair little area.
However, last night the bubble seems to have been popped!
Between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this morning we had 477 lightning strikes and just a shade under 2" of rain.
Right now the thunder is still rumbling.
As usual, Lucky is totally unaffected.
As usual, Sunshine is hiding under the bed.
At least we finally have some rain. We have had so many brush fires that sometimes we have been told to get ready since they're right off the highway which is only a mile away from us.
Some of them have been right in the wash across the street from our home.
I am sure it will dry quickly given the fact that it is still going to be a very humid and disgusting 102゚ today.
Just as I begin to feel somewhat more human and was looking forward to getting out, Murphy's law has struck and the weather service is telling us we're in Flash flood warnings and to stay inside and less were told to evacuate!
Life's a journey.

Catching up here . . . we got so much rain here in Michigan lately that our county was declared a federal disaster area. I don't remember ever that happening.
Sorry to hear you're still dealing with your health issues. Perhaps now that you've had your surgery and are the mend, things will continue to look up.
Your grandson's photo--wow, he's grown, hasn't he? I always was told, your kids grow up fast, but your grandkids faster.

Seems like only yesterday when Dylan was born! And here we are with Jackson about to turn 8! And it that isn't enough to make me feel really old our 1 and only granddaughter is about to enter kindergarten.
Ask for the health? Murphy's law has struck again. Seems with all this humidity and heat my valley fever kicked in and less than 24 hours after that even though I am basically inside in my little bubble I've somehow caught a nasty throat virus that is going around anthem and a sinus infection. To say I am miserable is an understatement
