what's cooking?

My trunk fell, missing my left hand and head by less than an inch.  I blamed the mountain slant. After all, Steve had replaced those springs a few years ago.  Both men pointed out that springs can, will and obviously did wear out.  Evidently, cars hold up no better than major appliances. 

Luckily, the parts are inexpensive! Plus, since it has been a minute, YouTube refreshed Steve with an excellent "How To" video.  

Strange all the things we've learned from a streaming app that we thought of as something kids watched.  Or, maybe people who could easily wind up going down a rabbit hole of homemade entertainment.

As for the rest of my week?  My mouth still hurts, our house guests are still very unhappy, it's very hot and Lucky has been promoted to Master Drill Sargeant.  Right this second she's barking at me for her evening Greenie.  Her sister is voguing-hoping a cute pose will be all that's needed to receive her treaured treat.

You have to admit,  my life is quite exciting. LOL!
