Getting the Stinkeye
Sunshine is the sweetest. But it seems even she has her "I've had it" limits. Plus, we had to add a fourth medication because one of the other three are major league upsetting her poor little tummy. Pretty sure at least one of them is just plain nasty tasting.
The liquid ones aren't too bad, except now when daddy picks her up-after giving him her usual kiss, she tries her best to lock her mouth shut! He's now getting the stink eye even when nothing is about to happen. This morning, the muscle relaxer was ground up and put in a pill pocket. I got the stinkeye. Absolutely refused to have anything to do with it. Next, took a thin bit of turkey, rolled it in the meds and put it on a plate. She started to eat it, realized I had laced it and kept putting it on the floor while giving me another from of stink eye and added a bit of a snarl.
Sigh. After 15 minutes, I managed to get about 86% into her.
Taking a little break before we do the other three. We're thinking up one strategies...
