what's cooking?

Just checking in. Hope you're feeling better. I heard about those poor folks caught up in that flood and thought of you for some reason. Guess cause you're the one I know who lives out in Arizona.
 

Hi Dave, Well-better is relative w/ Valley Fever, pneumonia and pleurisy. I can now breathe almost normally. The rash is no longer looking like I should join a leper colony and no fever. Still extremely weak and feeling like crap.

Luckily for us the Mayer fire was a good distance away. The Black Canyon Fire was literally up the road a piece-we got all the smoke and ash but I was busy being in the hospital during most of it, so it was Steve, son/daughter/kids and pets that had to endure all of it. again, luckily-it was far away enough that we didn't have to worry.
