Yep, That's a Bear
This past week the girl said I have seen more than our fair share all the wildlife. Look below and you will see that we had a bear in the area!
And that's not all…
Just a couple of mornings before this picture was taken, we scared a javelina.
We were just rounding the corner on to the Main Street when I heard a grunt. The girls got real quiet and looked to their right as well. We wondered what the grunting was and there it was! A very jiggly and not quite what anyone would call handsome guy.
They are no one for being quite mean. However I think that all of us were so surprised that the other one was there that the wild pig waddled back into the wash. The girls and I decided to reverse our route.
Thankfully my girls always seem to know exactly when NOT to yap and pull!
This is probably why the rule of thumb of walking in the desert is always make sure you know your surroundings.

Hi Carine. Catching up a little here too. We're celebrating our 41st anniversary this year, actually next week. Your routine sounds a little like my wife's with her regular water aerobics and doting over the grands. We just welcomed our seventh grandchild, going to St. Louis to visit with him. He should be our last so we want to make sure we see him while he's still a baby.
A bear? That's exciting. There are bears in Michigan but I've only seen one in 68 years.
Keep working on your health issues. They seem to come up with more treatments all the time. That's the good thing.
Take care.
