Trying to Laugh This Off

Seriously, my sense of humor is being tested.

My dishwasher is still on the blink.  Obviously, I'm still washing everything by hand-with limbs that are not working well, at all.

Then God, with his/her own sense of humor decided to bring back my vertigo.  Not joking about this..
Only difference between this round and last month is that so far I have kept food and drink inside my body. Sorry, forgot to put a TMI alert first.

If that isn't enough, my sciatica has been keeping me up at night.

Why?  Would someone, anyone, explain to the heavens above that this is simply not amusing me at all and JUST STOP!!!

Yes I agree that all of this are first world problems.  I agree that I really should just find a way to "suck it up, buttercup" and laugh it off.  But, this is my blog and I can rant about anything I want to!

Today I feel like ranting about this summer.

Kids go back to school Monday, even though it's still hotter than a furnace (with no end in sight) outside and we've been breaking all kinds of historically recorded temperatures.  Maybe the fact that this is happening will be the ticket we all need to stop this entire episode to end?

Comments:
I've wondered about you in Arizona with all that heat. At least your air conditioning is working. We had a storm that knocked out power for two days. Generators were running throughout the neighborhood but we don't have one. Thankfully it wasn't too hot here. Sorry to hear about Lily. Coincidentally we're watching my son's 15-year-old Boston Terrier while his family is in Maine now. Poor Simon misses steps going up and down, runs into things head first and last night could not find his way back to our back door after going outside. Sad to see your pets decline like that.

It really is. Lily lived with us for a few months along with Sam and Toby. That's how Pepper was able to get through the grieving period when we lost Sunshine #1. Lucky is pretty deaf at this point. Like us, pets are people too
