Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
Seriously, my body is in major disrepair.
This week has been a huge amount of pain, frustration and disappointment. Monday morning was especially brutal.
My pain management appointment did NOT actually help me "manage". It was more than time for those lovely (and quite painful) knee injections. They now come in a "one and done" version. Steve couldn't drive me due to his own medical appointment.
Sigh. I had to do the 45 mile trip on my own along with the drive home-after getting the shots.
Let's just say that I have no idea how I made it. My wonderful doctor failed to mention that this new formula had no lidocaine in it and was akin to toothpaste in consistency. This literally wiped me out for the entire week!
As of now, there's still no way I'm going to exercise for at least another couple of days.
But wait! There was more fun on Monday!
Steve thankfully got home, in the nick of time, to drive me to have another root canal.
The endodontist asked me if I took the painkiller he prescribed from my last procedure? I told him no. The last thing I wanted to do was puke after dental surgery. I informed him that I would still be using the "suck it up buttercup" method of pain relief this time as well.
Obviously, our 43rd Valentine's day was anything but what would be defined as romantic!
Here's hoping that by our 43rd anniversary my body parts improve.
